We are interdependent beings, and we have far less control over the circumstances of our lives than we like to admit. This is most evident in our closest relationships: we are most vulnerable at the hands of our loved ones.

Change is continuous. Sometimes, our everyday practices for loving and living together get ragged and fall out of step with changing circumstances and the growing people involved. We misunderstand each other. We feel disoriented and thrown, as if falling without a net beneath to catch us.

But we are not falling: we are being called back toward our loved ones—to have faith in our fundamental interdependence and our capacity to be changed by it.

“No Hesitation” is about the everyday act of recommitting to each other and learning to speak a new ground into being, together.
